World e-kata no. 1 na si PH karateka James De los Santos

Sa wakas, nakamit na ni online karate sensation Jame De los Santos ang kanyang misyon. Ito’y pagkatapos na iluklok bling world No.1 kata (form) player.

Sa latest e-kata world rankings, napataas ni former national team member ang points nito sa 8,950.Dahilan upang lampasan si No.1 Eduardo Garcia ng Portugal na may 8,575 points.

Naghari si James sa 1st Euro Grand Prix at sa 2nd e-Karate Games 2020. Kaya naman, nakumpleto nito  ang kulang na 3,000 points sa nakalipas na 2 buwan.

“I really never thought that I would catch up, given that I was nearly 3,000 points behind when I become the No. 2 back in August,” saad ng 30-anyos na si De los Santos.

“That discouraged me for a while, until my kata coach Masa Saito, as well as my parents told me to be patient and take one tournament at a time.”

“ That got me back on my feet. Then nearly three months later, I finally achieved it.”
