WORLD LEADERS NAGLULUKSA SA PAGPANAW NI QUEEN ELIZABETH II

Nakiisa sina US President Joe Biden at kanyang asawang si first lady Jill Biden sa pagluluksa ng Britanya at maging ng mundo sa pagpaw ni Queen Elizabeth II.

“She defined an era,” paglalarawan ng mag-asawa sa yumaong reyna, sabay nang pagkilala sa kanyang ambag sa matatag na pagkakaibigan ng US at United Kingdom.

“Queen Elizabeth II was a stateswoman of unmatched dignity and constancy who deepened the bedrock Alliance between the United Kingdom and the United States. She helped make our relationship special,” saad ng mga Biden.

14 pangulo ng Amerika ang naluklok sa loob ng pitong dekadang pamumuno ni Queen Elizabeth mula 1952.

Iniutos ni Pangulong Biden na ilagay sa half-staff ang mga watwat ng Amerika sa White House at lahat ng federal buildings hanggang sa mailibing ang reyna.

Nagpaabot din ng pakikiramay si Russian President Vladimir Putin sa Royal family at buong Britanya at Commonwealth.

Sa ipinadalang mensahe ni Putin sa bagong Hari na si Charles, sinabing minahal at nirespeto ng buong mundo ang kanyang ina.

“I wish you courage and resilience in the face of this difficult, irreparable loss. May I ask you to pass on sincere condolences and support to members of the royal family and the entire people of Great Britain,” pahayag ni Putin.

Emosyonal naman si Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at nagpasalamat sa serbisyo ng monarch sa UK at sa Commonwealth countries, kabilang ang Canada.

Sabi ni Trudeau, hindi niya inakala na huli na pala ang pagkikita nila nitong Marso sa meeting sa Windsor Castle. Si Trudeau ang naging unang bisita ng Reyna matapos gumaling sa COVID-19.

“It was with the heaviest of hearts that we learned of the passing of Canada’s longest-reigning Sovereign, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was a constant presence in our lives – and her service to Canadians will forever remain an important part of our country’s history,” tweet ni Trudeau.

“She was one of my favourite people in the world and I will miss her so,” dagdag pa ng lider ng Canada.

Nagbalik-tanaw naman ang Prime Minister ng Australia na si Anthony Albanese sa kabutihan ng reyna sa kanyang mga kababayan.

“Her majesty celebrated our good times, and she stood with us during trials and hardships. Happy and glorious, but steadfast too.

“In particular, we recall the sympathy and personal kindness she extended to Australians afflicted by tragedy and disaster — from floods and bushfires to wars and a pandemic. “Her words and presence were a source of comfort, hope and solace for millions of Australians,” mensahe ni Albanese.

Ikinalungkot din ni Pope Francis ang pagpanaw ni Queen Elizabeth II na aniya’y isang huwaran sa pananampalataya.

Nakiisa sa pagdarasal ang Santo Papa para sa binansagang longest-reigning monarch.

“I willingly join all who mourn her loss in praying for the late Queen’s eternal rest, and in paying tribute to her life of unstinting service to the good of the Nation and the Commonwealth, her example of devotion to duty, her steadfast witness of faith in Jesus Christ and her firm hope in his promises, ” saad ng Santo Papa.

Mula nang maupo sa trono, limang Santo Papa ang nakaharap ni Queen Elizabeth.

Samantala, dito sa Pilipinas, nagparating din ng mensahe ng pakikiramay si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa paglisan ng reyna na aniya’y malaking kawalan dahil sa ipinamalas na huwarang paglilingkod, dignidad at pagmamahal.

“We, together with many Filipinos living and working in England, though not subjects of the Queen, have found ourselves having developed a great sense of affection for her as a Queen, as mother, and as a grandmother.

The world has lost a true figure of majesty in what she demonstrated throughout her life and throughout her reign as Queen,” mensahe ni Pangulong Marcos.

Kahit nagluluksa pa, nakatakdang nang bumalik ng London mula Balmor ang bagong hari na si King Charles III, kasama ang Queen Consort na si Camilla para gampanan ang tungkulin.
