PASAY CITY – Nilinaw ng Bureau of Immigration na dapat magpakita ang fully vaccinated passenger ng documentary proof pagdating sa paliparan sa bansa.
Sa isang advisory, inihayag ni BI Commissioner Jaime Morente na kailangan lamang na may dala na vaccination card ang fully vaccinated passenger, na dapat berepekahin bago ang kanilang departure sa pamamagitan ng Certificate of Vaccination Record Portal ng Department of Information and Communication Technology o City Health Officer ng local government unit na siyang nangasiwa sa full vaccination.
“For those vaccinated outside the Philippines, they may present their International Certificate of Vaccination, or have their documents validated through the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), as the case may be,” dagdag niya.
MAAARI na lamang sumailalim sa 7-day quarantine period ang mga indibidwal na fully vaccinated na nanggaling sa ibang bansa simula sa Hulyo 1.
Sa mga nabakunahan sa labas ng bansa na kailangan pa rin sumailalim na lamang sa pinaikli na pitong araw na quarantine ang mga “fully vaccinated” o may kumpleto nang bakuna na mga pasaherong magmumula sa 57 bansa at lugar na ikinokonsidera na nasa mababa nang peligro sa sakit na COVID-19.
Kabilang sa mga bansang ito ay ang Albania, American Samoa, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Benin, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cayman Islands, Chad, China, Ivory Coast, Eswatini, Falkland Islands, French Polynesia, Gambia, Ghana, Greenland, Grenada, Hongkong, Iceland, Isle of Man, Israel, Laos, Liberia, Malawi, Malta, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Montserrat, Morocco, Mozambique, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niger, Nigeria, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Rwanda, Saba, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Singapore, Saint Eustatius, South Korea, Taiwan, Togo, Turks and Caicos Islands (UK), Vietnam, at Zimbabwe.
Passengers fully vaccinated abroad who stayed exclusively in any of these 57 places within the past 14 days immediately preceding their arrival shall undergo a seven-day facility-based quarantine,” ani Morente.
“Arriving passengers who were fully vaccinated in the Philippines are entitled to the same shorter quarantine privilege, and would need to present a 7-day quarantine booking upon arrival to immigration authorities,” dagdag pa ni Morente.
