TRANSIENT HOUSING PROJECT NG PHILIPPINE ARMY, NATAPOS NA

MAARI nang tirahan ng mga sundalo ang transient housing project na pinondohan ng Armed Forces and Police Mutual Benefit Association, Inc. sa bakuran ng Philippine Army sa Fort Bonifacio

Pinangunahan ng AFPMBAI, ang leading insurance and mutual benefits provider ng sundalo at pulis, ang turnover sa Philippine Army, ng apat na 2-storey transient facility units  na nagkakahalaga ng ₱33-M.

Ayon  kay AFPMBAI President at CEO Retired Major General Rizaldo B Limoso, patunay ang proyekto sa pagtupad sa pangako ng asosasyon na serbisyuhan ang mga kalalakihan at kababaihan sa hanay ng serbisyo.

“We are upholding the standard of providing meaningful social services through our members with our corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs since our inception, and will continue to do so for many years to come”, sabi ni MGen Limoso.

Katuwang ni MGen Limoso ang Guest of Honor, AFP Chief of Staff at AFPMBAI Chairman of the Board, General Andres C Centino sa pagkakaloob ng deed of donation at symbolic key kay Philippine Army  Commanding General Lt. General RBrawner.

Dumalo rin sa idinaos na seremonya sina, AFPMBAI Board of Trustees dating AFP Chief of Staff Ricardo A David Jr., atbCG Vice Admiral Rolando Lizor Punzalan Jr., Philippine Coast Guard Deputy Commandant for Operations, Brig. General Rodel M Alarcon PA (RET), at FCMS Rogelio O Obillo PN (M)(RET), AFP Sergeant Major and Trustee.

Sa naturang event, nagpapasalamat sina Gen. Centino at Lt. Gen. Brawner sa AFPMBAI management sa pamumuno nibMGen Limoso sa pagsasakatuparan ng  CSR programs at serbisyo sa mga kagawad ng Philippine Army, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy at Marines, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology at Philippine Coast guard.

“Over the course of the Army’s partnership with the AFPMBAI, the Association has bestowed various mission-essential equipment and facilitated the construction of facilities for the entire  Philippine Army and undoubtedly serves as a vital institution that uplifts the overall well-being of our personnel in the organization,”  ani Lt. Gen. Brawner

Binigyang diin naman ni Gen. Centino ang naturang donasyon ay pagpapaigting ng matibay na ugnayan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines sa AFPMBAI na pagtiyak sa pag-angat at paglago ng Armed Forces of the Philippines.

“This housing project is a testament of the unwavering efforts and initiatives of the AFPMBAI in providing topnotch service beyond responsive insurance services, affordable financial solutions and real estate investments to its members,” sabi ni Gen. Centino sa kanyang keynote speech.
Nabatid kay Gen. Centino na sinimulan niya ang naturang proyekto noong siya pa ang Commanding General ng Philippine Army upang matiyak na may maayos na tirahan ang mga sundalong mula sa mga lalawigan na maa-assign sa Manila.

“In return, the AFP reaffirms its commitment to support the initiatives and future endeavors of the AFPMBAI in its vision to be the undisputed leader and the industry standard among mutual benefit associations,” dagdag pa ni General Centino.

Ang nasabing pasilidad ay may 68 airconditioned rooms na maaaring tirahan ng  272 personnel, may  laundry at kusina, maayos na comfort rooms.
