PSC-ROTC GAMES, SALUDO SI CHAIRMAN BACHMANN

SINALUDUHAN  ni  Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Richard Bachmann ang  Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Games Visayas Regional leg sa kanyang pambungad na talumpati sa opening ceremony sa IloIlo City.

Binigyang-diin ni Bachmann ang mga achievements sa  programa ng  reserve officers’ program at ang   makasaysayang markang pagpapakita ng karakter ng kabataan para sa magandang kinabukasan.

“Today, we are gathered here in Iloilo for the inaugural ROTC Games Visayas Regional leg. This is indeed a milestone in the history of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, showcasing the dedication, discipline, and teamwork of our future leaders.”wika ni  Bachmann.

“As we witness our cadets compete at the highest level of play, we all should realize that this is not just a showing of their physical prowess and mental agility, but also a display of their commitment to the betterment of our society – a commitment that resonates deeply with the principles of the ROTC program.” aniya pa.

Dumalo sa naturang kaganapan sina  Sen. Francis Tolentino, IloIlo City Mayor Jerry Trenas, Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., at Cong. Anthony Rolando Golez Jr.

Nasaksihan ng mga estudyante ang parada live at  dance performances ng mga kadete na nagpamangha din sa Ilonggo crowd na tinampukan pa ng palabas ng  jet plane ng  Philippine Air Force sa himpapawid.

“The ROTC Games are not just about competition; they embody the values that the ROTC program instills in our youth and the next generation. The ideals of leadership, camaraderie, and service to the nation are exemplified by these men and women, who have trained diligently to compete at this level.” dagdag pa ni Bachmann.

Ang naturang  ROTC program ay isang  multisport event. “It catered cadets to bolster their skills and to teach the importance of physical education”.

Aarangkada ang Visayas leg ngayon at magtatapos sa closing ceremony  sa Agosto 19.

Higit sa  libong atleta ang nagpatala mula   regions 6, 7 at 8 sa ilalim ng  reserve officers’ program sa Visayas.

Ang  Mindanao leg ay sa Agosto 27  at ang South Luzon leg ay sa Cavite. Ang huling destinasyon ay ang NCR sa Pasig City.
