Nasikwat ni Paula Badosa ng Spain ang WTA Indian Wells title laban kay two-time champ Victoria Azarenka.
Dinaig ng pretty netter si Azarenka sa match na tumagal ng 3 oras at 4 na minuto, 7-6 (7/5), 2-6, 7-6 (7/2). Malaking rason ang mental toughness ni Badosa upang makopo ang titulo.
“Every morning I wake up and my dream is to win a tournament like this,” ani Badosa.
“I have to keep working hard and always believe. The key is to enjoy the journey.”
Nasungkit nito ang kanyang previous WTA final sa kaagahan ng season sa Belgrade. Pero, nakuha niya ito kay Ana Konjuh.
