“This milestone marks a significant step forward in the government’s initiative to harness private sector expertise and mobilize private capital for infrastructure development,” ayon kay DOTr Sec. Jaime Bautista.

Dumalo sa turnover ceremony sina San Miguel Corporation Presdent at COO Ramon. S. Ang, NNIC manager Lito Alvarez, MIAA General Manager Eric Ines, Bautista, DOTr Usec Robert Lim, at iba pa.

“Today, we are finally doing what the government has wanted to do since the 1990s- to use public-private partnership (PPP) in enabling a private operator to manage the operations and maintenance of NAIA and make it truly world-class. We wish NNIC much success,” dagdag ni Bautista.

“A world-class airport means more jobs, more tourists, and a stronger and more prosperous Philippines. NAIA is the first place travellers get of our country and we want the world to see it’s beauty and the incredible potential of the Filipino people. Let’s take pride in what we accomplished so far and everything we will accomplish together moving forward,” saad ni SMC Chairman Ramon Ang.

(ARSENIO TAN)
