NAVOTAS NAKUMPLETO NA ANG PAGBABAKUNA SA FRONTLINERS

Nakumpleto na ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Navotas nitong Lunes ang pagbabakuna sa priority A1 frontliners.

Nasa 1,297 residente at hindi residenteng frontliners na nakarehistro sa Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination program ng lungsod ang nakatanggap ng kanilang shots.  Sa bilang na ito, 178 ang nabigyan na ng pangalawang dosis.

Ipagpapatuloy na din ng Navotas ang pagbabakuna sa mga senior citizen kasunod ng pagpasya ng Food and Drug Authority (FDA) na payagan na sila sa Sinovac Biotech’s CoronaVac vaccine.

“Amidst the continuous increase in COVID-19 infections and the delay in the delivery of other vaccines, we welcome the decision of the FDA to allow seniors to have the CoronaVac jab,” ani Mayor Toby Tiangco.

“It is urgent that we vaccinate all our seniors as soon as we can. They are one of the most vulnerable sectors and they need to be protected immediately from this deadly disease,” sabi niya.

As of April 12, ang Navotas ay nakapagbakuna na ng 892 seniors at 1,686 persons with comorbidity.
