LENI ‘WAG NANG MANGIALAM SA PEACE TALK – SEN. BONG GO (VP makikipag-usap sa komunistang grupo)

INIHAYAG ni Senator Christopher “Bong” Go na hindi magiging lehitimo ang napipintong peace negotiation sa pagitan ni Vice President Leni Robredo at  National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP).

Ayon kay Go, posibleng magdulot lamang ito ng kalituhan kung sino nga ba ang susundin ng militar sakaling magdesisyon si VP Leni kung papanigan nito o tatanggihan ang alok na peace talks ng CPP-NPA-NDF.

 “Ang tanong diyan kung ano ang authority ng Office of the Vice President when it comes to the peace talks. Kasi tandaan natin ang presidente ang commander-in-chief ng buong Armed Forces of the Philippines. Kung makipag-usap sila doon, eh hindi naman po sumunod ang Armed Forces eh ‘di giyera pa rin. Whats the use ng peace talks,” pahayag ng senador.

“So, hindi magiging legitimate itong kanilang pag-uusap,” dagdag pa ni Go.

Ayon kasi kay NDFP negotiation panel interim chairperson Julie de Lima, pinag-aaralan ng kanilang panig ang pakikipag-ayos sa pamahalaan at hindi aniya ito imposibleng mangyari.

Subalit ang pamunian ng Liberal Party ang nais makapanayam ng grupo.

“The NDFP, including its panel, should hold discussions with opposition parties, in particular, the Liberal Party,” and “engage the constitutional successor to press for the resumption of the peace negotiation as a rallying point in the effort to oust Duterte,” wika ni De Lima.

“Prospects for resuming the peace negotiations after Duterte, whether he is ousted or he finishes his term, are possible and desirable,” aniya pa. Matatandaan na kinansela na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang usapang pangkapayapaan sa pagitan ng pamahalaan at rebeldeng grupo dahil sa kawalan ng sinseridad ng grupo kung saan patuloy sa pag-atake ang mga ito sa mga tropa ng gobyerno.
