INABSWELTO ng Sandiganbayan Second Division ang 16 criminal cases na isinampa laban sa tinaguriang “pork barrel queen” na si Janette Lim-Napoles kaugnay sa kontrobersyal na multibillion-peso pork barrel scam.
Ibinasura ang mga kaso laban kay Napoles matapos mabigo ang government prosecutors na patunayan ang mga bintang na graft and corruption cases laban kay Napoles.
“Finding Janet Lim Napoles NOT GUILTY in Criminal Case Nos. SB-14-CRM-0267 to 0282 for the failure of the prosecution to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt in all the sixteen (16) charges of violation of Section 3 (e) of Republic Act No. 3019, or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, as amended,” ayon sa 223-page decision na inilabas ng korte ngayong Lunes, Mayo 22, 2023.
Binawi rin ng korte ang mga inisyung hold departure order laban sa negosyante.
