“It is fitting to give honor to former servicemen who have shown patriotism, courage, and dedication in serving the country and the provinces to which they are assigned, and distinguished themselves in their service to the nation, by way of naming and renaming PNP facilities in their honor,” sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos.

Police Regional Office 12 ng General Santos City bilang Camp General Paulino T. Santos, Police Regional Office 12; Biliran Police Provincial Office bilang Camp Private Andres P. Dadizon, Police Regional Office 8; at
Camarines Sur 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company Headquarters bilang Camp 2LT Carlos Rafael Paz Imperial, Police Regional Office 5.

Tinukoy ni Pangulong Marcos ang Seksyon 2 ng Republic Act No. 10086, o Strengthening People’s Nationalism sa pamamagitan ng Philippine History Act sa pagpapangalan at muling pagpapangalan sa PNP camps at properties.

Ang nasabing probisyon ay nagpapalakas ng “people’s nationalism, love of country and respect for its heroes at pride for people’s accomplishments.”
