
TINIYAK ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na makakamit ng pamilya ni Adamson University student John Matthe Salilig ang hustisya.
Sa kanyang post sa Twitter, ipinaabot ng Pangulo ang kanyang pakikiramay sa pamilya ni Salilig, na namatay umano sa hazing.
“John was a child, a brother, a friend, a classmate, and a son of this nation, with a bright future ahead of him,” ayon sa tweet ni Marcos.
“It is not through violence that we can measure the strength of our brotherhood. “There should be no room for violence in our student organizations which our children consider family, and in our schools which they consider their second home,” saad pa niya.
Si Salilig ay miyembro ng Tau Gamma Phi sa Zamboanga at na paulat na sumailalim sa initiation rights upang kilalanin bilang miyembro ng Adamson chapter.
