PBBM: MGA PINOY GREATEST TOURISM ASSETS NG BANSA

Ang mga Filipino ay ang pinaka-asset ng Pilipinas pagdating sa turismo.

Ito ang inihayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. matapos dumalo sa Philippine Tourism Industry Convergence Reception na ginanap sa Pasay City.

“We always come back to our greatest asset and the greatest asset that we have in the PH are the 107 million Filipinos,”  ayon kay Marcos.

Inilarawan ng Pangulo ang mga Filipino bilang “young at well-trained workforce” na likas na palakaibigan.

“There is no warmer, more poignant sight than the smile of a Filipino, and that is something that we can introduce to the world,” saad pa niya.

Samantala, sinabi rin ni Marcos na plano ng gobyerno na i-develop ang mga resort area sa bansa upang muling buhayin ang tourism sector, isa sa mga pinaka-apektado na sektor dulot ng COVID-19 pandemic.

 “We will develop our resort areas. We will develop those already known and we will find new ones,” ani ng Chief Executive.

Pagpapatuloy pa niya na itong mga resort na ito ay nangangailangan ng global level of management at dapat ay may direktang access sa maliit na paliparan.

“We must improve the accessibility of all of these places, have direct access to smaller airports, not necessarily the big airports of Manila, of Cebu, of (Cagayan de Oro), of (General Santos). We must provide infrastructure to develop that access, the infrastructure to develop that area,” saad ni Marcos Jr.
