LUMUSOT nang walang kahirap-hirap sa makapangyarihang Commission on Appointments (COA) si Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah Pangandaman kahapon.
Si Pangamdaman ay itinalaga ni Pang. Bongbong Marcos, Jr. noong June 30, 2022.
Nagtapos si Pangandaman ng bachelor’s degree in economics sa Far Eastern University at master’s degree at certification in development economics mula sa University of the Philippines.
Nagsimula si Pangandaman ng kanyang karera bilang researcher ng Senate of the Philippines, Nagsilbing chief of staff ni dating Senate president Edgardo Angara noong 2007.
Naglingkod din sya bilang staff sa Senate finance committee na dating pinamunuan ni Senate President Protempore Loren Legarda.
Si Pangadaman ay nagsilbi rin bilang Assistant Secretary mula 2016 hanggang 2018 at Undersecretary mula 2018 hanggang 2019 sa Department of Budget and Management sa pamumuno ni Sec. Benjamin Diokno..
Sa sponsorship ni Senadora Grace Poe, chairperson ng C-A Committee on Budget and Management, pinuri nito ang serbisyo at husay ni Pangandaman sa pagtatrabaho sa loob ng dalawang dekada.
“During that stint, she was the group head of the Office of the Secretary and was a “key mover” in the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of the General Appropriations Act or national budget. She joined the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in 2019 as a technical adviser and later became managing director of the Office of the Governor and Executive Offices. In 2021, she became an assistant governor,” ayon kay Poe.
Sinuportahan naman ni Senator Alan Peter Cayetano ang kumpirmasyon ni Pangandaman bilang DBM Secretary.
“She is a woman in a predominantly men in the Cabinet. She is the daughter of muslim and christian parents. No objection and we wish her well!,” ayon kay Senator Alan Peter Cayetano
Kasabay nito, nakumpirma na rin ng CA si Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo. Si Manalo ay nagsilbing Philippine Ambassador to the United Kingdom mula 2011 hanggang 2016, Undersecretary for Policy of the Department of Foreign Affairs mula 2016 hanggang 2020, at 21st Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the United Nations mula 2020 hanggang 2022.
