HIDILYN DIAZ, PARARANGALAN NG ‘MEDAL OF VALOR’ NG AFP AT NG PSC

Pagkakalooban si Hidilyn Diaz ng ‘Medal of Valor” ng Philippine Air Force (AFP). Ito’y dahil sa malaking karangalang ibinigay niya sa Pilipinas nang makasungkit ng gold medal sa Tokyo Olympics.

Ang gintong medalya na nabuhat niya ay kauna-unahan para sa bansa. Na pinatid nito ang pagka-uhaw sa ginto ng Pilipinas sa loob ng 97 taon.

“We laud and support this move at the General Headquarters to mark SSgt. Diaz’s remarkable achievements in the field of sports. And for bringing pride and glory to the country,” saad ni Capt. Jonathan Zata, public affairs chief ng AFP.

“Congratulations to SSgt. Diaz. The AFP is proud of your accomplishments and may you continue to serve as an inspiration to your fellow service members,” aniya.

Bukod sa military honor, pararangalan din ang 30-anyos na weightlifter ng PSC Ito ay ang Olympic Gold Medal of Valor.

“We have limited resources but we saw her potential so we took the chance,” sabi ni PSC Chairman Butch Ramirez.
