Itinalaga si NBA Hall-o-Famer Grant Hill bilang bagong managing director ng United States men’s national team. Gayundin sa USA Basketball’s board of directors.
Siya ang hahalili kay Jerry Colangelo, 81, na tumimon sa posisyon noong 2005. Magreretiro na kasi ito pagkatapos ng Tokyo Olympics.
Si Hill, 48, ay naglaro sa NBA ng 18 seasons sa 4 teams. Siya’t No.3 overall pick ng Pistons noong 1994.
Naging 1994-95 co-Rookie of the Year at 7-time All Star. Nakapaglaro ng 1,026 games sa kanyang buong career.
Bukod sa Pistons, naglaro rin siya sa Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Clippers.
Naging member siya ng gold medal winning squad. Na tinatawag na “ Dream Team II” sa 1996 Olympic sa Atlanta.
