FOREIGNERS P’WEDE NA PUMASOK SA PH SA MAY 1

Simula sa Mayo 1, papayagan na ang mga dayuhan na makapasok sa Pilipinas, ayon sa Malacañang.

Ito’y kahit nananatili pa rin sa ilalim ng mahigpit na COVID-19 protocols ang capital region ng bansa.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, kinakailangan lamang na mayroong valid visa ang mga dayuhan sa panahon na papasok sa Pilipinas maliban na lamang ang kwalipikado sa Balikbayan Program.

“These foreign nationals must likewise have a pre-booked accommodation for at least seven (7) nights in an accredited quarantine hotel or facility and they must subject to COVID-19 testing at the quarantine hotel / facility on the sixth (6th) day from the date of arrival. In addition, they are subject to the maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry,” ani Sec. Roque.

Gayunman, inihayag ni Sec. Roque na patuloy pa ring umiiral ang travel restrictions sa mga biyahero na galing ng India o mayroong history ng pagbiyahe sa naturang bansa.

“All these are without prejudice to immigrations, rules and regulations. The Commissioner of Immigration shall have the exclusive prerogative to decide on the waiver or recall of exclusion orders of foreign nationals, subject to regular reporting to the IATF Secretariat,”dagdag ni Sec. Roque.

Inihayag ni Sec. Roque na para matiyak na magiging maayos ang implementasyon ng bagong panuntunan ng IATF, inatasan na ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) na bumalangkas ng mga kaukulang guidelines.
