NAGBIGAY ng donasyon ang Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FCCCII) Foundation sa mga pangunahing sektor, na naaepktuhan ng global pandemic, COVID-19 ngayong araw.
Sa pamumuno ni federation director at Sison, Pangasinan Mayor Danilo Uy, kanyang naiturn-over ang COVID-19 relief packages sa ilalim ng Filipino-Chinese Community COVID-19 Relief Operations.
Nagkapag-donate ang grupo ng 5.1 milyon na facemasks; 197,000 KN95 masks; 31,980 PPEs; 17,314 safety goggles; 43,200 face shields; 187.000 medical gloves; 1,437 thermal scanners; 3,100 gallon ng alcohol; 1,465,175 kilos ng bigas; 63,000 sardinas; 335,900 packs ng noodles; 1,400 boxes ng 100 pieces each ng Vitamin C with Zinc capsules; Happee toothpastes, ventilators at iba pang medical supplies.
“Our relief efforts nationwide have reached our frontliners, healthcare workers, barangays, hospitals and communities across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. This is our way to show our support and gratitude to our hospital and government frontliners for their very important role amidst the COVID-19 pandemic,” ayon kay FFCCCII President Dr. Henry Lim Bon Liong.
“Our federation has supported the national COVID-19 vaccination program through our FFCCCII ‘Operation Bakuna’ project wherein we acquired 500,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines under a tripartite agreement with the government to inoculate our economic frontliners — the entrepreneurs and employees nationwide. This project did not cost a single centavo to the government,” inanunsiyo niya.
Nabanggit din ni Lim ang pangalan ng kanilang partners sa Filipino-Chinese communities: Federation of the Filipino-Chinese Associations of the Philippines; Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Overseas Chinese Alumni Association of the Philippines; Filipino-Chinese Amity Club; World News Daily; Filipino-Chinese Shin Lian Association; Philippine Chinese Commerce & Industry Overseas Association; Philippine Soong Ching Ling Foundation; Philippine Jin Jiang Shen Fu Zhen Association and World Fujian Youth Federation of the Philippines.
