FACEBOOK ACCOUNT NI ENRILE SINUSPINDE NG META

Nagpapasalamat si Chief Presidential Legal Counsel sa Meta nang ibalik nito kanyang Facebook account makaraang suspendehin matapos ireport dahil sa kanyang ipinost.

“My account was temporarily suspended because of a statement I posted earlier today. Because of that statement I posted, I was attacked by troll farms and reported to Facebook,” ayon sa 100-anyos na chief lawyer ni President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

“I would like to thank Facebook for restoring my personal account and for upholding the freedom of speech in this country.”

Sa kanyang post dakong alas-2:00 ng gabi nitong Sabado, inupakan niya ang madugong giyera kontra droga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte bilang hindi lehitimong law enforcement policy.

Ayon pa kay Enrile, karamihan sa taga-suporta ni Duterte ay “advocates and supporters of strong-arm style of government.”

“They think that the PRRD drug war was a legitimate law enforcement policy. It was not. The anti-drug law did not, to my recollection, authorize killing suspected people with impunity,” giit ni Enrile.

Dagdag niya: “No Congress under our constitutional law ever authorized summary killings of suspected people. Even criminals caught red-handed are not authorized by law to be killed summarily, unless they resisted with violence.” “Police power in this country is not licensed to kill suspected people with impunity. Police power is generally controlled by LAW and DUE PROCESS. Our Constitution abhors the death penalty,” sabi pa ni Enrile.

Noong nakaraang linggo, nagpost din si Enrile sa Facebook upang tanungin kung seryoso ba o nagpapatawa si Duterte nang magsalita ito tungkol sa pagpatay sa 5,000 drug suspects sa unang buwan ng kanyang drug war noong 2016.

Iniimbestigahan na si Duterte ng International Criminal Court dahil sa kanya umanong crimes against humanity sa madugong giyera kontra droga.

Noong nakaraang taon, humarap si Duterte sa mga pagdinig sa Kongreso at hindi nagsisisi sa kanyang naging aksyon. Idinagdag pa nito na inutusan niya ang kanyang mga pulis na hikayatin ang mga drug suspect para manlaban upang  mapatay sila.
