EZCONSULT SA QC, ‘KINUYOG’ DAHIL SA ABERYA (Termination ng kontrata sa Zuellig, pinag-aaralan na)

QUEZON CITY – Seryosong ikinukunsidera ng Quezon City government ang pag-terminate sa kontrata nito sa Zuellig Pharma Corporation kasunod ng mga aberya sa pag-sign up ng mga residente sa eZConsult service.

“Kaya natin kinuha ang serbisyo ng eZConsult ay para mapadali ang proseso ng pagpapatala ngunit ano ang gagawin natin kung ang sistema nila mismo ang ugat ng problema. The sacrifices and efforts of our medical frontliners and the time and sanity of our residents are being compromised by this inefficient system. They committed a seamless service but they failed repeatedly. Our QCitizens deserve nothing but the best service. We have already improved our system in vaccination centers where people no longer have to fall in line and go through the entire vaccination process within a maximum of 45 mins. Dapat kahit virtual pila wala din sa QC as long as vaccine supply is stable. Yet eZconsult is putting all our efforts down the drain,”  ayon kay Mayor Joy Belmonte. 

“We have issued an ultimatum to Zuellig to upgrade their system and provide all the deliverables by this Friday, June 18 as agreed in a meeting held last week. If not, we have no other choice but to contract another company that can do the job quickly and efficiently,” dagdag niya.

Nagsimulang magkaroon ng technical difficulties mula pa noong June 10, 2021, kung saan nahihirapan ang mga taga-QC na makapagparehistro ng online sa eZConsult.

Dahil dito, maraming residente ang dismayado matapos hindi makakuha ng COVID-19 vaccine katulad ng ipinangakong bilis na serbisyo ng LGU.

Tinitingnan na rin ng Quezon City Government ang pagsasampa ng kaso sa kabiguan ng Zuilleg Pharma Corporation sa contractual obligation sa local government hanggang Byernes, June 18, 2021, sakaling mabigo ito na maayos ang kanilang serbisyo.

Nagpadala na rin ng liham si City Attorney Orlando Casimiro sa Zuellig Pharma Corporation, sa pamamagitan ng general manager nito na si Danilo Cahoy, para hingiin ang liquidated damages sa naganap na technical failures ng eZConsult. Sa naturang demand letter, ipinaalala ni Casimiro, ang terms of reference ng kontrata ng Zuellig kaugnay sa obligasyon nito na makapaghatid ng available Information Technology Services, tulad ng registration, pre-assessment, booking at scheduling ng of vaccination ng mga pasyente sa pamamagitan ng digital forms.
