Duterte tiwala pa rin kay Villar sa kabila ng korpasyon sa DPWH

BUO pa rin ang “tiwala at kumpiyansa” ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Public Works Secretary Mark Villar sa kabila ng alegasyon ng korapsyon sa naturang ahensiya, ayon sa Malacañang.

“Full trust and confidence po [si Presidente] kay Secretary Villar dahil despite the corruption in DPWH, naka-deliver po si Secretary Villar,” saad ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

“It helps na mas marami pang pera ang pamilya ni Sec. Villar kaysa sa DPWH,” dagdag pa niya

Sa kanyang talumpati noong Miyerkoles ng gabi, nagpahayag si Duterte ng pagkadismaya dahil napupunta lamang sa katiwalian ang malaking pondo para sa mga proyekto ng imprastraktura.

“At the DPWH, that is rampant there. Projects, those project engineers. All of that, road, right-of-way, corruption is massive there. No construction begins without transaction. If Congress would really want to know, funds of DPWH projects really have ‘give.’ I do not know who. There are so many officials lined up in the bureaucratic maze so I do not know who among them,” ayon kay Duterte.

Nakatuon ngayon si Duterte upang pigilan ang korapsyon sa DPWH at PhilHealth, ayon kay Roque.
