INILUNSAD ng Department of Health Western Visatas Center for Health Development (DOH WC CHD) ang kanilang “Iwas Paputok” nitong Biyernes.
Lumalabas sa datos ng DOH na tumaas ang bilang ng kaso ng firecracker-related incidents sa rehiyon magmula 2020.
Nakapagtala ang rehiyon ng 42 kaso noong 2020 130 in 2021; 212 in 2022; and 294 at isa ang namatay noong 2023.
“We are starting the campaign as early as now so that we can make noise and remind our community about the healthy initiatives that we can do approaching our holidays,” saad ni Ana Margarette Navarro, Health Education and Promotion Officer III of DOH WV CHD.
“As early as now, we are collaborating with different agencies to enforce the safety of our community with regard to firecrackers.”
