DIGITAL PROGRAMS TO ENHANCE SERVICE DELIVERY, WELCOME KAY TIANGCO

MALUGOD na tinanggap ni Navotas Representative Toby Tiangco ang mga digital na hakbangin ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na naglalayong mapabuti ang paghahatid ng serbisyo nito.

Ayon kay Tiangco, ang bagong inilunsad na online donation platform ng DSWD at ang one-stop-shop online system nito ay alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Marcos na gamitin ang teknolohiya upang gawing mas madaling ma-access ang mga serbisyo ng gobyerno.

“We appreciate DSWD’s commitment to President Marcos’ vision. We hope other government agencies follow suit, as the growing demand for online government services underscores the critical role of digital ecosystems in efficient service delivery,” pahayga niya.

Sinabi ni Tiangco na ang digitalization, kasama ng mga pagsisikap ng gobyerno sa pag-streamline, ay makabuluhang nagpalakas ng kahusayan sa mga proseso ng gobyerno.

Binanggit din niya ang Harmonized Electronic License and Permit System o Helps ng DSWD, na inaasahang magpapahusay sa mga serbisyo ng regulasyon ng ahensya.

“According to DSWD, Helps allow clients to file their applications for registration, license to operate, and accreditation (RLA) in only 20 minutes and receive their certificates as fast as 14 days. This is a huge improvement from the manual process, which could take three to six months and require multiple in-person visits,” ani Tiangco.

“This proves how vital digitalization is in government transactions. These programs will undoubtedly provide Filipinos with faster and more responsive services,” dagdag niya.
