DEPLOYMENT SA SAUDI ARABIA TULOY

KINUMPIRMA ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ngayong Sabado na inalis na ang temporary deployment ban sa overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) sa Saudi Arabia.

Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III na nagdesisyon siya na tanggalin ang temporary ban matapos makatanggap ng isang official communication mula sa Saudi government upang tiyakin na papasanin ng mga foreign employers at recruitment agencies ang lahat ng gastos sa health at quarantine fees ng mga OFW.

“After receipt of the official communication from the Saudi government this morning which ensures us that the foreign employers and agencies will shoulder the costs of institutional quarantine and other [COVID-19] protocols upon arrival in the KSA, the temporary suspension of deployment to the Kingdom is hereby lifted,” ani ni Bello.

Dagdag pa niya na inabisuhan na niya na rin ang Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) na agad ipatupad ang na bawiin ang deployment ban at upang mabigyan ng necessary na clearance ang lahat Filipino workers upang madali ang kanilang paglalakbay patungong Saudi Arabia.
