Magkasamang nag-donate ang Chinese Embassy at Chinese contractor ng Samal Island-Davao City Connector Project, China Road and Bridge Corporation ng sako-sakong bigas na nagkakahalaga ng P500,000 sa bawat pamilya ng Limao Barangay, Island Garden City ng Samal Island.
Nagagalak si Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian na bisitahin ang napakagandang Island Garden City ng Samal matapos dumalo sa isinagawang rice donation ceremony.
Kahapon, kasama si Xilian nina President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Vice President Sara Duterte at iba pang mataaas na opisyal ng gobyerno sa ground breaking ceremony ng Samal Island-Davao City Connector Project.
“China has been and will always be the close neighbor, good relative and friendly partner of the Philippines. The rice donation is a token of friendship and a testament of our commitment. I sincerely hope that these rice could help improve local families’ livelihood and contribute to an inclusive development for all,” ayon kay Xilian.
