MAYNILA – Pinasalamatan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) para sa pagbibigay sa mga empleyado nito ng national ID sa pamamagitan ng Philippine Identification System ng ahensya.
Isinagawa ang isang special on-site National ID registration para sa mga opisyal at empleyado ng BI sa tanggapan ng BI sa Intramuros.
Upang matiyak ang social distancing, binigyan sila ng schedule at hinati sa grupo ng administrative division ng BI sa limang magkakahiwalay na araw.
Ininspeksyon ni BI Deputy Commissioner Aldwin Alegre ang site registration sa inisyal na pag-arangkada nito noong nakaraang Nobyembre 25 at ibinahagi na naging “systematic, mabilis at nasunod ang health standards” ng proseso.
Nagpasalamat si BI Commissioner Jaime Morente sa PSA sa pag-accommodate ng mga frontliners para sa pagpaparehistro.
“We thank the team of USec Claire Dennis Mapa for the project,” saad ni Morente. “This partnership with the PSA has allowed our frontliners to secure the much-needed national ID without having to leave their duties, at a time when we are spread thinly because of Covid restrictions,” aniya.
