Nagpahayag ng pasasalamat si Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Jaime Morente sa Civil Service Commission (CSC) matapos arpubahan ang hiling nito na magkaroon ng isang agency-wide eligibility exams.
Ayon kay Morente, tinupad ng CSC Central Office at CSC National Capital Region Regional Office ang request ng ahensiya na magsagawa ng exams para sa kanilang contractual employees na isasagawa sa Disyembre 12.
Ibinahagi ni BI Personnel Section Chief Grifton Medina na 51 BI employees ang binigyan ng slot para sa nasabing examination.
“This would greatly help many of our contractual employees who have been in the service for many years,” said Medina. “The Bureau has only about 2,000 permanent employees nationwide, and this is an opportunity to regularize our contractual staff,” dagdag niya.
