BI HANDA NANG PALAWIGIN ANG TRAVEL BAN SA 10 BANSA

MAYNILA – Inanunsiyo ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) na kanilang ipatutupad ang pagpapalawig sa travel restriction sa mga pasahero na manggagaling sa 10 bansa.

Sa isang advisory, inihayag ni BI Commissioner Jaime Morente na alinsunod sa resolusyon mula sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases  (IATF), nakatakda ang travel restriction sa mga pasahero na manggagaling sa India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Thailand, Malaysia Indonesia na palalawigin simula Lunes hanggang sa Agosto 31.

“We have circulated the resolution to the airlines and other stakeholders,” saad ni Morente.  “Airlines have been instructed not to board those coming from the said countries,” dagdag pa niya.

Nilinaw naman ni BI Port Operations Division Chief Atty. Carlos Capulong, na ang mga paparating na mga Pinoy, sa ilalim ng repatriation programs, ay papayagang makapasok sa bansa pero dadalhin sila sa one stop shop ng paliparan upang sumailalim sa absolute 14-day facility based quarantine,  bukod sa pag-secure ng negative RT-PCR result.
