CLARK FREEPORT – Pinagtibay ng Clark Development Corporation (CDC) ang safety at security operation nito matapos nitong pinasinayaan kamakailan lang ang P10 milyong halaga ng fire station building sa loob ng nasabing Freeport.
Pinangunahan nina CDC Chairman Atty. Edgardo D. Pamintuan at CDC President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan ang ribbon cutting at blessing ceremony ng nasabing pasilidad.
Ang pasilidad ay isang two-storey structure na may pitong fire truck bays, staff office, toilet at pantry, storage room, open area, staging area, panic area, at slide pole sa ground floor. Habang ang second floor houses ay isang quarter area na may 28 bedding capacity at comfort rooms para sa mga babae at lalaki.
Sa kanyang talumpati, sinabi ni Gaerlan na ang pagpapatayo sa nasabing pasilidad ay nangangahulugan ng pangako ng CDC na tiyakin ang safe at stable operation para sa lahat ng investor sa Freeport.
“Ito pong mga ganitong infrastructure at facility dito sa Clark Freeport Zone and Clark Special Economic Zone ay napakahalaga, because it adds not only value to Clark Freeport Zone but also it adds confidence and sense of protection para po sa ating mga investors. In CDC, we conduct business with a heart, and we should give the necessary care and protection to our locators not only in our business processes but also in terms of services, particularly public safety services,” dagdag ni Gaerlan.
Sa kanyang bahagi, nagpahayag ng pasasalamat si Pamintuan sa lahat ng opisyal at empleyado ng CDC para sa kanilang pagsisikap sa development ng pasilidad. Sinabi pa niya na ang bagong fire station at mga fire truck ay makatutulong sa pagbibigay ng epektibo at mahusay na protection services sa lahat ng Clark stakeholders.
“I would like to thank and congratulate all those who were involved in the construction of this facility. With this facility, we can prevent business disruption and distractions through modern facilities, technology, and equipment such as this. Napakaganda po talagang mag invest at mag business dito sa Clark because you’ll feel safe and secured,” ani Pamintuan.
Samantala, ang inagurasyon ng fire station building ay kasabay ng blessing ceremony para sa CDC fire trucks. Ayon sa CDC-PSD, ang firetruck na binili noong 2017 ay may water capacity na 2005 gallons, habang ang isa pang trak, isang RosenBauer fire vehicle, ay may kapasidad na 1,500 gallons.
Ang iba pang opisyal na CDC na dumalo sa event ay sina CDC Vice President for Security Services Group PBGen. Sheldon Jacaban, CDC Vice President for Engineering Dennis Legaspi, CDC Vice President for Legal Affairs Atty. Josep Jepri Miranda, CDC Vice President for Administration and Finance Mariza Mandocdoc, at CDC Vice President for Business Development and Business Enhancement Group Rynah Ventura.
Naroon din sina Mabalacat City Fire Marshall Senior Inspector Shiela Marie Florendo, and Angeles City Fire Marshall Chief Inspector Errick Derro gayundin sina Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD) President at CEO Bi Yong Chungunco. Pinangunahan ni Rev. Fr. Deogracias Kerr Galang, parish priest ng St. Joseph the Worker Chapel 2 sa Clark, ang pagbabasbas sa bagong pasilidad and ang bendisyon sa CDC firefighters.
