NINOMBRAHAN ng Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) sina Alvin Aguilar ng wresling at Donaldo Caringal ng volleyball bilang deputy chefs de mission para sa Hangzhou 19th Asian Games 42 araw mula ngayon.
Inanunsiyo ni POC President Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino ang appointments nina Aguilar, pangulo ng Wrestling Association of the Philippines, at Caringal, secretary-general ng Philippine National Volleyball Federation.
Ani Tolentino ang dalawang dagdag slots para sa deputy CDM ay inalok sa POC ng Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee.
Makakasama nila sina sepak takraw head Karen Tanchanco-Caballero at ice skating chief Nikki Cheng bilang deputies kay chef de mission Rep. Richard Gomez ng fencing at modern pentathlon.
“The task of the CDM’s office in Hangzhou is not an easy one, considering the size of our delegation and the competition venues,” wika ni Tolentino.
Ang Team Philippines ay binubuo ng 395 atleta na sasabak sa 37 sports sa Asian Games.
Hangzhou, ang ikatlong Chinese city maghu-host ng games matapos ang Beijing (1990) at Guangzhou (2010), punong-abala ng 37 sports na pagtutunggalian sa sa higit 44 venues primarily sa Hangzhou Olympic Sports Expo Center at sa Deqing, Jinhua, Ningbo, Shaoxing at Wenzhou.
