“Through the MOU, we can secure additional technical and financial support from the national government for the UHC program. This agreement ensures equitable access to quality and affordable healthcare for Navoteños,” pahayag ni Mayor Tiangco.
“Establishing the UHC integration site in Navotas also facilitates the faster and more efficient delivery of health services to our constituents. We are grateful to DOH and PhilHealth for their continuous support to our city,” dagdag niya.
Ang seremonya ng paglagda ay sinaksihan ni Dr. Eric David, Navotas City Health Officer at Dr. Karen Fernandez, DOH-MMCHD Assistant Regional Director. Ang integrated health system ay isang diskarte kung saan ang isang local government unit, na may mga katuwang tulad ng DOH, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Education, Department of Social Welfare and Development, at civil society organizations ay nagbabahagi ng responsibilidad sa pag-oorganisa, pamamahala, paghahatid, at pagpopondo ng mga sama-samang mapagkukunan upang mapabuti ang health outcomes para sa lahat ng mga stakeholder.
