Mindanao State University binomba…11 PATAY, 40 SUGATAN SA MARAWI

Mahigpit na nakikipagtulungan ang Mindanao State University (MSU) sa mga awtoridad hinggil sa malagim  na pagpapasabog sa university gymnasium sa Marawi City habang nasa kasagsagan ng isang misa nitong Linggo ng umaga na ikinasawi ng 11 katao habang higit sa 40 ang sugatan.

“The University is in close coordination with the AFP/PNP, PDRRMO and CDRRMO of Lanao Del Sur regarding the security in the campus. There is no advise or recommendation for a lockdown or the need to evacuate the University constituents in the campus. Furthermore, based on the assessment of the internal security of the campus, the University is secured,” ayon sa inilabas na kalatas ng MSU Emergency Taskforce.

“We urge the university constituents to remain calm but cautious. We urge the students to remain in their dormitories, boarding houses, and homes inside the campus until further notice. The university with the help of the PDRRMO and CDRRMO will provide for the necessities needed in the dormitories and boarding houses. The university is now on heightened security with presence of both the PNP and AFP,” dagdag pa nito.

Bilang karagdagan, sinabi rin nito na hindi isasailalim sa lockdown ang nasabing unibersidad, wala ring evacuation at ang campus ay nasa under control.
