PAGCOR NEUTRAL SA INTRA-CORPORATE DISPUTE SA TIGER RESORT, LEISURE AND ENTERTAINMENT, INC.

“All that PAGCOR did was to follow the law and court processes.”

Sa katunayan, sa kanyang liham na may petsang Mayo 4, 2022, sinabi ni Atty. Roderick R. Consolacion, Chief Legal Counsel ng PAGCOR, sa mga abogado ng mga naglalabanang grupo na “it is for the Supreme Court to resolve the merits of the pending case. In the meantime, the Status Quo Ante Order (SQAO) is effective immediately by express directive of the Supreme Court and thus must be respected by PAGCOR and the parties, until lifted or otherwise the status quo is changed by the court.”

Binigyang-diin ng PAGCOR ang pagiging neutral nito sa intra-corporate dispute sa Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment, Inc., (TIGER) para bigyang linaw ang mga naglalabasang report kaugnay sa pag-aakusa sa regulator na ito ay may kinikilingan pabor sa grupo ni Mr. Kazuo Okada.

Kinikilala at kikilalanin lang ng PAGCOR ang utos ng Supreme Court at gagamitin ang kanilang awtoridad bilang regulator nang walang nilalabag o naantala ang SQAO at iba pang order na inilabas ng Supreme Court.

Tumanggi ang PAGCOR na magkomento pa tungkol sa nangyayari sa Okada Manila, na nagsasabing “since the issues between the parties are sub-judice, we fear that the court will find us in contempt if we do so.”
