NABAKUNAHAN SA QC, HIGIT 1M NA

UMABOT na sa mahigit 1 milyon bakuna ang pinangasiwaan ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City magmula nang magsimula ang vaccination program nito noong nakaraang Marso.

Nitong Hulyo 13, naiturok na ang 1,013,988 bakuna. Sa bilang na ito, natanggap na ng 686, 311 o 40.37% sa 1.7 milyon na target na populasyon ang kanilang unang dose habang 327,677 o 19.28% sa nasabi ring target ang fully protected na matapos matanggap ang kanilang second doses.

Inilahad ni Mayor Joy Belmonte ang tagumpay ng vaccination program ng siyudad dahil sa pagsisikap ng mga healthcare workers, volunteers at auxiliary personnel.

“From our police officers who ensure that the vaccine supply is secure from the warehouse to the sites, the doctors, nurses and other medical workers who screen patients and administer the vaccine doses, up to the volunteers who marshal our sites, distribute forms, and clean up after,  and the encoders who record our patients’ data individually — the continuous success of our program is due to your unwavering efforts. We are truly grateful for your service to our QCitizens,” saad ni Belmonte.

Patuloy ding nag-i-improve ang QCProtektado Vaccination Program dahil sa tulong at suporta ng maraming stakeholders ng siyudad kabilang na ang mga malls, homeowner associations, religious groups, medical organization, school at universities, government agencies, private sector groups, business establishments, at marami pang iba.
