Bilang bahagi ng repormang isinasagawa sa Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) isasailalim sa seminar ang nasa 98 tauhan nito kabilang ang 50 jailguards na na-relieve sa kanilang mga pwesto kamakailan.
Ayon kay BuCor Director General Gregorio Pio P. Catapang Jr., isasagawa ang dalawang araw na seminar sa New Conference Room, National Headquarters ng BuCor sa Muntinlupa City ngayong Mayo 30 at 31.
Sa temang “Leadership in Transition: Inspiring teams through change,” ang seminar sa pakikipagtulungan ng Master’s Lighthouse Foundation.
“Dito sa BuCor, hindi lang persons deprived of liberty ang nirereform namin, pati mismo personnel namin na medyo naliligaw ng landas irereform din namin,” ani Catapang.
“The reform that we are implementing at the BuCor will be one of the legacies of the Marcos administration, so we just have to do our best and be a part of our “BuCor reform” program,” ani Catapang.
