5.6M PASAHERO NAITALA SA MACTAN AIRPORT NOONG 2024 – CEB

Mahigit sa 5.6 milyong pasahero ang bumiyahe papasok at palabas ng Cebu noong 2024, na bumubuo ng halos 50% ng kabuuang dami ng pasahero ng Mactan-Cebu International Airport na 11.3 milyon para sa taon.

Ito ang inanunsiyo ng Cebu Pacific (CEB), na nagsasabing ang paglago ay sumasang-ayon sa misyon ng CEB na magbigay ng mas accessible na mga opsyon sa paglalakbay sa mga pasahero, lalo na sa mga nasa rehiyon ng Central Visayas.

“Driven by strong travel demand and strategic network expansion, CEB’s flights to and from Cebu grew by 34.7% – rising to 4,824 flights in January 2025 from 3,580 in January 2024. Similarly, the airline’s seat capacity grew by 51.6%, increasing to over 717,000 seats from nearly 473,000,” ayon kay CEB’s spokesperson Carmina Romero.

Napag-alaman  na kasalukuyang nag-aalok ang CEB ng direktang mga flight sa 24 na lokal at anim na internasyonal na destinasyon mula sa Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

“Cebu Pacific’s continued growth in Cebu reflects the strong demand for affordable and accessible air travel in Central Visayas. By increasing our flights and seat capacity, we are not only connecting more passengers but also supporting tourism, trade, and economic opportunities across the region,” ayon sa CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.
