48 BAGONG TECH-VOC GRADS TINANGGAP SA NAVOTAS

TINANGGAP ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Navotas ang bagong 48 technical and vocational graduates mula sa Navotas Vocational Training and Assessment (NAVOTAAS) Institute.

Sa bilang na ito, 21 ang nakakumpleto at nakatanggap ng national certification (NC) II

para Barista, pito para sa Housekeeping, at 35 para sa Basic Visual Graphic Design.

“More and more Navoteños see the importance of tech-voc training. Since January this year, 240 have graduated from NAVOTAAS Institute and another batch is set to complete their training this May. We will strive to offer more courses as we prepare for the establishment of the Tanza Airport Support Services,” ani Mayor Toby Tiangco.

Ang Navotas ay may apat na training centers na bukas para sa mga Navoteño at non-Navoteño trainees kung saan libreng makapag-aral sa institute ang mga residente.

Ang NAVOTAAS Institute Main ay nag-aalok ng mga kursong Automotive Servicing NC I, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II, Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC I, at Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II.

Sa kabilang banda, ang NAVOTAAS Institute Annex 1, ay may mga kursong Beauty Care NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Dressmaking NC II, Hairdressing NC II, at Tailoring NC II.

Nag-aalok din ang training center ng Japanese Language and Culture II, Korean Language and Culture I (Basic Level), and Korean Language at Culture II (Intermediate Level).

Samantala, ang NAVOTAAS Institute Annex 2 ay kayang tumanggap ng gustong magtraining sa Barista NC II, Beauty Care NC II, Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Food and Beverage Services NC II, Hairdressing NC II, Housekeeping NC II, at Massage Therapy NC II.

“We have seen the benefits of tech-voc education that is why we built training centers and offered highly-sought courses. We want Navoteños to have more employment and livelihood opportunities through free skills training and TESDA certification,” sabi ni Cong. John Rey Tiangco.

Ang NAVOTAAS Institute ay nagbibigay din allowances at tool kits sa mga trainees sa ilalim ng Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) and Special Training for Employment Program na pinondohan ng national government sa pamamagitan ng tanggapan ni Cong. Tiangco.
