3 NPA TERRORIST NASAKOTE SA CHECKPOINT SA BATANGAS

SAN JUAN, BATANGAS – Nasakote ng mga pinagsanib na elemento ng Provincial Intelligence Unit ng Batangas Provincial Police Office, Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU4A), RID4A, 1stBPMFC, MARPSTA Lemery Law Enforcement Team, Armed Forces of The Philippines at National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Batangas ang tatlong wanted persons na mga hinihinalang miyembro ng teroristang New Peoples Army o NPA sakay ng isang Isuzu Crosswind XUVI na may plakang XLC 989 kahapon ng umaga sa isinagawang checkpoint ng mga awtoridad sa Barangay Buhay na Sapa ng nasabing bayan.

Ayon sa ulat na ipinadala ni Batangas Police Provincial Director, Colonel Samson B. Belmonte sa opisina ni Calabarzon Regional Director Police Brigadier General Carlito M. Gaces, ang mga naarestong suspek ay kinilalang sina Ernesto Baes Jr.(Regional Demolition/Ordinance Procurement Staff ng Southern Tagalog Regional Committee), Jose Escubio at si  Jonald Jabonero mga nasa hustong gulang at mga wanted para sa kasong Murder at Violation of Presidential Decree 1886 o Illegal Possession of Explosives as Amended by RA 8294 and RA 9516 and Violation of RA 10591.

Nakuha rin sa nabanggit na sasakyan ng mga suspek ang mga sumusunod; 1 unit of cal.1911 45 pistol with serial number 7790317, 1 unit of cal.45 pistol with serial number 571482, 1 unit cal.45 pistol with serial number 766175, 25 pcs.cal.45 ammunitions, 2 pcs. extended cal.45 extended magazine, 2 pcs. cal.45 magazine, 1 unit improvise cal.22 assembly, 2 units of hand grenade, 1 pc. blasting caps, 1 pc.magazine of cal.5.56, 1pc.wig and assorted clothes, 8 pcs of assorted cellphones, assorted identifications, 1 unit Apple Laptop, assorted chargers,, hygiene kit , P13,500 na cash money at mga subersibong dokumento.

Pansamantalang nakadetine ngayon ang mga suspek sa opisina ng Provincial Intelligence Unit Holding and Detention Cell sa Batangas Provincial Poilce Office bago iharap sa korte at walang inirekomendang piyansa. (KOI HIPOLITO)
