TINIYAK ni Bureau of Corrections Director General Gregorio P. Catapang Jr., sa publiko na garantisadong may 24/7 healthcare services ang mga naka-confine na Person Deprived of Liberty (PDL) sa iba’t ibang correction facilities ng BuCor.

Sa ginanap na ceremonial signing ng National Policy on Promotion and Protection of Health in Jails, Prisons, Custodial Facilities , and Other Places of Detention ngayong araw sa Manila Hotel, inihayag ni Catapang na ang healthcare services ay isa sa mga pangunahing pangangailangan ng PDLs.

“I see to it that that the provision of appropriate and continues healthcare services were given to them the same way with that of the free community,”ani Catapang.
