20-30 KATAO IPINAPATAY NI REP. TEVES – MAYOR DEGAMO

Hawak na ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang listahan ng mga katao ipapatay umano ni Negros Oriental 3^rd District Rep. Arnolfo Teves Jr.

Ito’y tugon sa isinagawang pahayag ni Pamplona Mayor Janice Degamo, biyuda ni governor Roel Degamo, na siyang nagsabi na nasa 30 katao ang ipinapatay ni Teves.

“The initial that we got was 17 people but there are more names coming up,” ayon kay Justice Secretary Boying Remulla.

“We have to get the data, we have to investigate them systematically to get the necessary data and to have a case folder for each so we know who are the witnesses and what statements will be made to support the allegations, the death certificates, autopsy results,” paliwanag niya.

Si Teves ang isinasangkot na mastermind sa pagpatay sa gobernador ng Negros Oriental.


Sa pagsasampa ng mga reklamo, sinabi ni Remulla na mangyayari ito “sana sa Marso 30 o 31.”

Kung si Teves ay kabilang sa mga respondents, sinabi ni Remulla na titingnan ng DOJ ang lawak ng kanyang pagkakasangkot.
“Because if the case will be filed, it will still undergo preliminary investigation except for those who voluntarily gave statements which we can already submit to the court for further action,” saad niya.

Ayon kay Remulla pito hanggang sampung katao ang sangkot sa pagpatay at posibleng ito rin ang sangkot sa pamamaslang kay Degamo.

“They may intersect at some points or they may have a lot in common in the Degamo murders,” saad niya.
