115 MGA TAUHAN NG BUCOR, NAGTAPOS BILANG CORRECTION OFFICERS

Mayroong 115 corrections officers ang nagsipagtapos ngayong umaga sa Social Hall ng Bureau of Corrections sa Muntinlupa City.

Dahil dito, umabot na sa 3,710 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga indibidwal na nakakumpleto ng mga kinakailangang pagsasanay sa basic at mandatory trainings.

Sa nasabing bilang, 3,067 bagong recruits ang nagtapos sa Basic Training Course for Corrections Officer 1 habang 643 custodial officers naman ang nagtapos sa Mandatory Training bilang paghahanda sa kanilang promosyon.

“This event marks an important step in the agency’s continuous efforts to enhance its workforce and “it makes me happy,” ayon kay Bucor Director General Gregorio Pio P. Catapang Jr.

Binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng professional growth  sa loob ng ahensiya, kung saan inihayag na siya ay committed upang tiyakin na ang mga opisyal ay hindi magreretiro sa pinakamababang ranggo, CO1, na maihahambing sa private ng Armed Forces of the Philippines, kahit na ilang dekada na sa serbisyo.

“It’s disheartening to see someone retire after 30 years of service still holding the rank of CO1. By encouraging them to pursue further education and advance their ranks, we can ensure they enjoy a more dignified retirement with better pensions,” pahayag ni Catapang.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng 119 Founding Anniversary ng BuCor, isang mass promotion ceremony ang isasagawa bukas, na bibigyang pagkilala ang mga bagong promoted commission at non-commissioned officers.

Magkakaroon din ng awarding ceremony kung saan bibigyan ng parangal ang mga modelong civilian persoonel ng BuCor, outstanding junior at senior commissioned at non-commissioned corrections officers, gayundin ang technical officers, awarding para sa best operating prison and penal farm,  at best performing office.

“This initiative not only highlights the dedication of the personnel but also reflects the Bureau’s commitment to excellence in corrections management,” ayon kay Catapang.
