518 TOURISM WORKERS NABAKUNAHAN SA CLARK


BAKUNAHAN SA CLARK. Pinuri ni Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat (gitna) ang Ceremonial Vaccination Program para sa tourism workers na isinagawa kamakailan lang sa Bicentennial Park dito. CLARK FREEPORT – Nabakunahan na kamakailan lamang ang 518 tourism workers sa Ceremonial Vaccination Program para sa A1 priority group na ginanap sa Bicentennial Park sa nasabing Freeport nitong weekend.

Nagtatrabaho ang mga nasabing manggagawa sa accommodation establishments na ginamit bilang quarantine at isolation facilities hindi lamang sa Freeport na ito kund maging sa buong Central Luzon.

Ayon kay Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat,  napakahalaga ng vaccination initiative ng DOT para makabangon muli ang sektor sa turismo, lalo na sa nasabing rehiyon.

Nakompleto ng nasabing inoculation ang target ng DOT na mabakunahan ang kabuuang 3,109 tourism workers sa A1 hotels sa Clark kasama ang kalapit nitong mga siyudad at lalawigan tulad ng Angeles City, Tarlac, Subic Bay Freeport Zone at Olongapo City.

Nagpahayag naman ng pasasalamat si Puyat kay Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan at sa Local Government Unit (LGU) ng Pampanga para iprayoridad ang tourism workers. “We thank the LGU of Pampanga and the CDC for prioritizing our tourism workers. We have very high hopes for Pampanga’s tourism rebound,” saad niya.

Dumalo sa nasabing aktibidad sina Gaerlan, National Task Force Against Covid-19 Deputy Chief Implementer Secretary Vince Dizon, DOT Region 3 Director Carolina Uy, Department of Health (DOH) Region 3 Director Corazon Flores at CDC Tourism Promotions Division Manager Noemi Julian.

Ipagpapatuloy ng DOT ang vaccination drive nito sa Pampanga upang malamit ang 100 percent inoculation rate kabilang ang tourism workers na nasa ilalim ng A1 priority group.

Para matupad ito, kapit-bisig ang CDC at Provincial Government ng Pampanga sa pagho-host ng vaccination activities sa buong probinsiya.
